Always confirm any assessment from DEDOC with a qualified doctor, nurse, or other licensed health worker, particularly before starting, stopping, or changing any medication or treatment.

Responses from the AI Health Assistant are generated by third-party large language models (currently Google Gemini, with DeepSeek as a fallback) and, when neither is reachable, a rule-based offline engine built into DEDOC. Both can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Health information changes, and no automated system can account for every individual circumstance, condition interaction, or local disease pattern.

DEDOC deliberately avoids recommending prescription-only medicines by name and dosage. Where general guidance mentions common over-the-counter measures (such as paracetamol or oral rehydration salts), you remain responsible for checking the dose is appropriate for the patient's age, weight, allergies, and pregnancy status, ideally by asking a pharmacist or health worker.
